Our Story

Dumont Farm was built on the belief that how food is raised matters. We are committed to raising animals with care and respect while stewarding the land in a way that improves it for future generations.

Our cattle are raised on pasture using regenerative grazing practices that work with nature rather than against it. By allowing the animals to move across fresh pasture and graze diverse grasses, they naturally fertilize the soil, strengthen plant diversity, and help restore the health of the land.

We believe that healthy soil creates healthy animals, and healthy animals create nutrient-dense food. The result is food you can feel confident feeding your family—raised with transparency, integrity, and respect for both the animals and the land.

Our goal is to reconnect people with their food and the farmers who raise it.

Our Beef

At Dumont Farm, our cattle are raised the way nature intended—on open pasture, grazing diverse grasses and forage their entire lives. Our beef is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, meaning the animals are never grain finished and are allowed to grow at their natural pace while living low-stress lives on healthy Vermont pasture.

Our cattle are raised without antibiotics or added hormones, allowing them to develop naturally while producing exceptionally clean, high-quality beef.

This slower, natural approach produces beef that is not only rich in flavor but also nutritionally superior. Grass-fed beef naturally contains higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and vitamins A and E, along with a healthier Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio compared to conventional grain-finished beef.

Our cattle are managed using regenerative grazing practices that help build soil health, improve biodiversity, and restore the land. The animals do the work for us—naturally fertilizing and improving the pastures while producing exceptionally nutrient-dense beef.

Every cut reflects the care put into the animals and the land they live on. The result is beef you can feel good about feeding your family—raised with respect, transparency, and integrity from pasture to plate
